Construction + care
Traditional joinery – solid teak, no metal fixings
The Catherine is constructed using traditional joinery methods and assembled with wooden dowels – no metal fixings. This time-honoured approach produces a bench of exceptional rigidity and longevity. Some light assembly is required before use, and anchor kits are available separately to increase the security of your bench in public or exposed settings.
Teak is naturally long lasting and highly resistant to the elements, but to preserve its appearance and keep that rich golden tone, we strongly recommend treating with our teak sealer. Left untreated, teak will silver gracefully over time – both finishes are equally durable.

Great, high quality, solid wood!
The bench arrived today. I gave it a coat of teak oil which give a superb finish! Wacked in the wooden pegs and hey presto one finished bench. Pricey but solid! We recently saw a good looking bench for £260 in a garden centre, this bench is 10x better! This bench is way above something you’ll find in B&Q or your local garden centre. I know, I know, you’re looking at the price thinking ‘but £295’ but I wouldn’t be surprised to find this bench for £500 in other places.
