Hand crafted to the highest quality from solid eco-friendly teak with a fine sanded finish, it brings the warmth and character of a classic British park bench to any outdoor setting, whether a private garden, school grounds, college or golf course.

Seating three comfortably at 150cm, the 5ft Catherine sits beautifully alongside one of our picnic benches as a more peaceful spot to sit and enjoy the surroundings. It can also serve as a deeply personal memorial piece when paired with an engraved plaque. The full Catherine range also includes 4ft and 6ft benches and a matching fixed armchair – ideal for creating a complete garden seating arrangement.

A fitting tribute – engraved and fitted for you

Transform the Catherine 5ft into a truly meaningful memorial bench by adding an engraved brass or stainless steel plaque – a 4″ x 2″ at £65, 6″ x 2″ at £75, or 8″ x 2″ at £85, all fitted at no extra charge.

A bench assembly service is available if you would prefer your bench delivered fully assembled on a pallet. Note that assembled benches and plaques may take up to 7-14 working days to dispatch.

Construction + care

Traditional joinery – solid teak, no metal fixings

The Catherine is built using traditional joinery methods and assembled entirely with wooden dowels – no metal fixings anywhere. This tried and tested approach creates a bench of exceptional strength and rigidity that improves with age. Some light assembly is required before first use, and anchor kits are available separately for added security in public or exposed locations.

Teak is a naturally robust and long lasting hardwood ideally suited to outdoor use. We strongly recommend treating with our teak sealer to maintain its warm golden appearance. Left untreated, teak silvers gracefully over time – a finish that is equally durable and attractive.

We’ve tried to make delivery as easy as possible – here’s how everything gets from our place to your garden.

Free Mainland UK Delivery

We offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses on all of our teak garden furniture products on orders over £99.

Extremities such as the Isles and remote Scottish areas will cost a little more. Just drop us an email at [email protected] for a delivery price.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

We guarantee dispatch within 24–48 hours (weekdays only), often sooner.

Deliveries are generally placed on a next day service, but can take up to 48 hours. You’ll receive an email from us when your items have been dispatched, and then you’ll hear directly from the courier with delivery details.

Packaging & Delivery

All items are thoroughly packaged in-house using a careful system to help everything reach you in great condition.

On receiving your items, please visually check them before signing to make sure you’re happy with their condition. If something doesn’t look right, take photos so we can quickly address it with our couriers.

Returns & peace of mind

Simple returns if something’s not quite right

We make our returns policy super simple in the unlikely event that you do need to send anything back.

Damaged in transit

If any of your items are clearly damaged in transit, please do not sign for them and ask the courier to return them straight away.

If the damage isn’t visible at the time, or the goods have been left, please contact us at your earliest convenience providing images of the damage. We’ll take back all damaged items and sort the return for you free of charge, and arrange a replacement as soon as the damaged item is back at our depot. You have 14 days from receipt of the items to let us know.

In the very unlikely event your item is grossly not as described, we will arrange a return for a replacement or a full refund free of charge.

You have 14 days from receipt of the items to advise us if something is not as described, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Changed your mind?

If you choose to return your item but there is no damage and it is as described, we’re still happy to help within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

Items must be in the same condition they were received, in their original packaging. In this case we simply ask that return carriage is paid by you – we’ll organise and arrange the return for you.
