Teak Oil – 2L

To ensure you make the most of your glorious teak patio furniture and keep it well protected from the elements you should treat it regularly with this fantastically effective teak oil.

The detail

This high quality teak oil will soak through the surface of your teak furniture, providing necessary nourishment so that your garden furniture is ready to battle the effects of sun, rain, frost, mildew and algae whilst still allowing the teak to breathe.

We strongly advise that you treat your patio furniture using this teak oil on an annual basis to maintain its appearance. Treating your teak garden furniture is very simple, just apply to the surface using a smooth brush or cloth, just be careful to use gloves.

This 2L bottle will treat a large garden furniture set comprising 8 patio chairs and a large patio table, or 3 -4 patio benches. Alternatively, you will have sufficient teak oil to treat a smaller garden table and chair set or single garden bench on multiple occasions.

Please read the instructions carefully before use and follow the suggested procedure. Unfortunately we will not be responsible if the full instructions are not accorded with.

Specification: Coats: 2 – 3

Coverage: Approximately 72m²

Dry time: Minimum of 6 hours for a light coat, 12 – 24 hours for a medium coat.

Preparation: If you’ve recently purchased your patio bench, patio table or patio chair then any traces of dirt or grease should be removed, white spirit should do the job. For older teak which is weathered this teak oil would be most effective if the surface is lightly sanded to a smooth finish beforehand.

This will make sure any dust or dirt etc. is removed before treatment.

Application: Teak sealer can be easily applied with a cloth, rag or smooth brush. 5 minutes after treatment any excess teak oil should be wiped off your garden furniture and you should ensure that the surface has dried before applying another coat.

Storage: Please ensure your teak oil is safely resealed after use then stored in a cool dark place.

Caution

You should be sure to only use your teak oil in a well ventilated area. Please note that any brushes, rags or cloths still soaked with teak oil could be a fire hazard and should be thoroughly cleaned and soaked in water both before and after use.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

We guarantee dispatch within 24–48 hours (weekdays only), often sooner.

Deliveries are generally placed on a next day service, but can take up to 48 hours. You’ll receive an email from us when your items have been dispatched, and then you’ll hear directly from the courier with delivery details.

Packaging & Delivery

All items are thoroughly packaged in-house using a careful system to help everything reach you in great condition.

On receiving your items, please visually check them before signing to make sure you’re happy with their condition. If something doesn’t look right, take photos so we can quickly address it with our couriers.

Returns & peace of mind

Simple returns if something’s not quite right

We make our returns policy super simple in the unlikely event that you do need to send anything back.

Damaged in transit

If any of your items are clearly damaged in transit, please do not sign for them and ask the courier to return them straight away.

If the damage isn’t visible at the time, or the goods have been left, please contact us at your earliest convenience providing images of the damage. We’ll take back all damaged items and sort the return for you free of charge, and arrange a replacement as soon as the damaged item is back at our depot. You have 14 days from receipt of the items to let us know.

Item not as described

In the very unlikely event your item is grossly not as described, we will arrange a return for a replacement or a full refund free of charge.

You have 14 days from receipt of the items to advise us if something is not as described, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Changed your mind?

If you choose to return your item but there is no damage and it is as described, we’re still happy to help within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

Items must be in the same condition they were received, in their original packaging. In this case we simply ask that return carriage is paid by you – we’ll organise and arrange the return for you.

Just the job
Got the furniture out of the shed last week and it was looking a bit dull, now it looks good as new. I’m very happy but my wife was disappointed because she wanted to go shopping for a new table and chairs! Thanks.
