The Lutyens tradition
Sir Edwin Lutyens designed this bench for the grand gardens he created in the early twentieth century. Its rolled back and deeply curved arms were designed to be immediately comfortable and immediately distinctive. It has never gone out of fashion, and in solid teak it will outlast almost anything else you put in the garden.
