Hand crafted from solid eco-friendly teak with a fine sanded finish, this 4ft version seats two at a neat 45cm height – making it perfectly suited to park pathways, garden borders, poolside areas, changing rooms and sports club facilities.
Without a back rail, this bench has a clean and minimal profile that fits naturally into any space without imposing. Despite its simplicity, it is constructed to exactly the same high standards as the rest of the Ottena teak range – built to last and genuinely luxurious underfoot. Available in 4ft, 5ft and 6ft widths to suit any setting.
Where to use it
From park pathways to poolside – it fits anywhere
The low profile and clean lines of this backless teak bench make it one of the most adaptable seats in the range. It sits naturally along pathways, beside pools, in changing room areas, at the edge of a garden border, along a terrace or at a sports club. It is equally at home in private domestic settings and busy commercial environments. Anchor kits are available separately to fix the bench in place where required.
Construction + care
Traditional joinery – solid teak, no metal fixings
Like all Ottena teak benches, the backless 4ft is assembled using the provided allen key bolts – delivering strength and rigidity without compromise. Some light assembly is required before first use. Anchor kits are available separately to secure the bench permanently in any location.
Teak is naturally resistant to rot, insects and weathering – making it the ideal choice for an outdoor bench that will see all seasons without complaint. We recommend applying teak sealer to maintain the warm golden tone. Left untreated, teak silvers gracefully – both finishes are equally durable.

nice and simple
This is a good bench, simple idea and works well in our courtyard garden. There were a few white marks on the wood when we unpacked the bench but these wiped off easily and haven’t come back
