Planning a practical teak furniture arrangement in Devon
Choose for your corner of the garden
In Devon, the conditions at a sheltered patio can differ from an exposed position nearby. Consider where you will actually sit, whether there is a stable base and where cushions can be stored dry. Follow the product care guidance rather than assuming all outdoor accessories can remain outside in every condition.
Keep the arrangement easy to use
If you want both meals outside and somewhere to read, compare the space used by a dining set with a separate bench or relaxing chair. Check gates and any steps before delivery. For a holiday property or business, tell the team about the intended use when comparing specifications.
For care and finish advice, read our teak furniture care guide. For the full product ranges, use our patio sets, garden benches and garden chairs collections.

Sustainably sourced teak garden furniture
Our teak garden furniture is manufactured in Indonesia, using sustainably sourced Teak and supported by replanting schemes. Using timber that will last means you won't have to buy 'fast' furniture and replace it every year.
How we make our Devon Garden Furniture
We manufacture all of our garden furniture from only sustainably sourced eco-friendly teak. All the timber we use in building our teak Adirondacks, teak garden benches and teak patio sets is only sourced from plantations that are certified as sustainable. Under the SVLK certification scheme which controls this, the teak used will only be sourced from these sustainable sources.
Our manufacturer uses traditional joinery methods to construct our stunning teak garden furniture which we supply in Devon. These traditional construction methods help to limit the use of plastic and metals in our production methods. However the use of some metal and plastic is unavoidable but with these traditional methods it is kept to a minimum level as possible. This is key to all the garden furniture we supply in Devon meaning that you can rest easy you are shopping sustainably.
Our eco-promise to you with every piece of furniture.
We are always working to make our products and processes as eco-friendly as possible. With our packaging materials that we use we ensure that the bubble wrap we use is manufactured from recycled plastics and that it is also 100% recyclable when not needed anymore. Sending larger items on wooden pallets to save on excessive packaging is a great benefit, the pallets can be reused or recycled easily.
As our timber only comes from sustainable sources we wanted to make sure we are also helping by offering a tree planting scheme. For every order placed with us at Ottena we will plant a tree, this is a great scheme and we are very proud to offer this with every order placed with us. Meaning that you can shop with us guilt free, knowing that when purchase furniture in Devon from us, we care about the environment for you.
