Here is another new addition to the Ottena parasol family – the tilting 2m x 1.5m rectangular navy parasol. Rectangular parasols are always extremely popular with both private and commercial customers, and this new slightly smaller rectangular parasol with a tilting mechanism is sure to be just as popular.
Constructed from hardwood, the two-piece wooden frame is built to the highest standards with brass fittings and a double cord pulley mechanism for raising and lowering. Once raised, the canopy is held in place with a brass pin that passes through the pre-drilled holes in the upper frame section. The lower pole can be easily unscrewed to ease storage of the parasol.

Why go indoors when you can simply tilt?
The best feature of this new parasol is the tilting mechanism built into the upper frame. Once raised, the parasol can be easily tilted to either the left or right to an approximate angle of 30 degrees – giving another dimension of protection from the late evening sunshine. Stay outside, enjoy the evening, and simply tilt when you need the shade.
Construction + care
38mm hardwood with brass fittings throughout
The 38mm hardwood pole and brass fittings are built to the highest standards. The showerproof polyester canopy has a UV rating of 15 – protection from light rain and some protection from the sun’s rays. The double cord pulley raises and lowers the canopy easily, with the brass pin locking it in position.
The lower pole unscrews for easier storage. Always return to vertical using the release mechanism before lowering – never collapse the canopy in the tilted position. Close and store safely in strong winds and during extended periods of non-use.
