The parasol

An absolute classic – and a beautiful outdoor addition

This rectangular tilting parasol is the perfect addition to any outdoor living space, providing excellent shelter and protection that will give many years of happiness and enjoyment. Constructed from hardwood, the two-piece wooden pole has a diameter of 38mm and with a large brass screw collar the lower pole section can be easily attached or removed for ease of storage.

With a double cord pulley mechanism the parasol canopy can be raised and lowered with ease. Once raised it is held in place with the brass pin that slots into the pre-drilled locating holes in the upper part of the wooden frame. This green rectangular parasol is an absolute classic – a beautiful addition to any private outdoor area and a fantastic choice for any commercial setting too.

The tilt mechanism

Shade at any angle, throughout the day

Built into the upper section of the wooden pole is the brass tilting mechanism. This allows the parasol to be tilted either to the left or right to an approximate angle of 30 degrees, providing added protection and shade from the late evening sun when it starts to get lower in the sky.

Construction + care

Brass-fitted, hardwood-built throughout

The 38mm hardwood pole with brass screw collar makes storage simple – unscrew the lower section, store, reassemble in seconds. The canopy is showerproof polyester with UV rating of 15 for both rain and sun protection.

The canopy is easy to maintain – wipe down with a damp cloth as needed. Always return to vertical using the release mechanism before lowering. Never collapse in the tilted position. Store safely in strong winds.

We’ve tried to make delivery as easy as possible – here’s how everything gets from our place to your garden.

Free Mainland UK Delivery

We offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses on all of our teak garden furniture products on orders over £99.

Extremities such as the Isles and remote Scottish areas will cost a little more. Just drop us an email at [email protected] for a delivery price.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

We guarantee dispatch within 24–48 hours (weekdays only), often sooner.

Deliveries are generally placed on a next day service, but can take up to 48 hours. You’ll receive an email from us when your items have been dispatched, and then you’ll hear directly from the courier with delivery details.

Packaging & Delivery

All items are thoroughly packaged in-house using a careful system to help everything reach you in great condition.

On receiving your items, please visually check them before signing to make sure you’re happy with their condition. If something doesn’t look right, take photos so we can quickly address it with our couriers.

Returns & peace of mind

Simple returns if something’s not quite right

We make our returns policy super simple in the unlikely event that you do need to send anything back.

Damaged in transit

If any of your items are clearly damaged in transit, please do not sign for them and ask the courier to return them straight away.

If the damage isn’t visible at the time, or the goods have been left, please contact us at your earliest convenience providing images of the damage. We’ll take back all damaged items and sort the return for you free of charge, and arrange a replacement as soon as the damaged item is back at our depot. You have 14 days from receipt of the items to let us know.

Item not as described

In the very unlikely event your item is grossly not as described, we will arrange a return for a replacement or a full refund free of charge.

You have 14 days from receipt of the items to advise us if something is not as described, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Changed your mind?

If you choose to return your item but there is no damage and it is as described, we’re still happy to help within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

Items must be in the same condition they were received, in their original packaging. In this case we simply ask that return carriage is paid by you – we’ll organise and arrange the return for you.

This is a really cool product. I bought this for my mum and dad as a wedding anniversary gift and they loved it! I got the parasol cover to go with it and that also seems to be decent.
