Here at Ottena we are happy to offer one of the newest additions to the wooden garden parasol family – the 3m round tilting parasol. These new tilting parasols are the perfect addition to your fine teak garden furniture, with the vibrant red canopy giving a lovely burst of colour to any outdoor area. They suit private gardens and commercial settings alike, giving customers much-deserved shelter from the British weather.
The sturdy two-piece wooden frame is fitted with an efficient double drawstring mechanism to make raising and lowering the parasol very simple and easy. The parasol is held in place with a brass pin that passes through the wooden frame. Once fully open it can be tilted to the left or right by a quick release mechanism to an angle of approximately 30 degrees – perfect for late evening sunshine. Always bring the parasol back upright using the release mechanism before lowering.

Follow the sun – stay outdoors longer
The tilt mechanism gives the parasol a much greater range of usage. When the sun gets low in the sky in the late evening, simply tilt the canopy to maintain shade and keep the outdoor living going. A simple press of the release button and the canopy tilts and locks at approximately 30 degrees. Always bring back to upright before lowering.

Hardwood, brass fittings and real build quality
The 3m canopy is manufactured from a showerproof polyester material with a UV rating of 15 – protection from light rain showers and late evening sunshine. The two-piece 48mm hardwood pole features a stylish brass insert at the centre which is far more attractive than other metal parasol poles on the market.
The lower pole section can be unscrewed for easier storage when not in use. Always use the release mechanism to return the parasol to vertical before lowering – never attempt to collapse the canopy in the tilted position. Close and store safely in strong winds.
