This means that all of the teak that our manufacturer uses is only ever sourced from plantations that are sustainably controlled. These plantations are closely monitored and the teak will have to have a SVLK certification to ensure its come from these sustainable plantations.
Teak is such a fantastic timber, having a high natural oil content lending its self perfectly for the production of teak garden furniture. Our manufacturer uses traditional joinery methods and limits the use of unnecessary metals and plastics to ensure a strng and sturdy product that is hard-wearing and long lasting.

At Ottena we are a small family run business and always want to ensure we are always trying to do our utmost to help reduce our carbon footprint and to be more aware of our planet and environment.
With our packaging we are trying to use as little plastics as possible but the plastics we do use we ensure they are made from recycled materials and that they are also fully recyclable once they are not needed anymore.
Another fantastic scheme we now have in place is a tree planting scheme. This means that for every order placed with us at Ottena we will plant a tree on your behalf. A fantastic initiative that we think is simply brilliant!!
