Planning a garden furniture order in Herefordshire
Measure the destination and the approach
For a Herefordshire property with a narrow approach or a garden beyond the house, check the route before choosing large pieces. Note gates, steps, turns and where a delivery vehicle can unload. Share those details with the team so requirements can be discussed before purchase.
Create a seating area you will use
Think about where you naturally spend time in the garden. A bench may suit a separate resting spot, while a dining set works best where there is room to move around occupied chairs. Compare the actual product sizes and the preparation needed for a stable base.
For care and finish advice, read our teak furniture care guide. For the full product ranges, use our patio sets, garden benches and garden chairs collections.

Our ranges of teak garden furniture and wooden garden parasols are tailored to the UK weather and whatever the climate in Herefordshire decides to throw at it. Using solid, hard-wearing teak to manufacture our garden furniture and using traditional joinery methods ensures you will be purchasing a quality item that requires little to no year on year maintenance.
With the county of Herefordshire famous for its cider, why not have somewhere special where you can sit and relax with friends and family and enjoy a glass of cider or whatever your favourite tipple may be. Within our range of teak garden furniture there will definitely be a stunning item for you when searching for garden furniture in Herefordshire.
Sustainably sourced teak garden furniture
Our teak garden furniture is manufactured in Indonesia, using sustainably sourced Teak and supported by replanting schemes. Using timber that will last means you won't have to buy 'fast' furniture and replace it every year.
Solid teak and traditional joinery
we ensure at Ottena that our teak garden furniture is manufactured from only the finest solid teak that has been sustainably sourced by our manufacturer. All of our teak garden benches, taek patio sets and Adirondack chairs are built usingtimber from plantations that are strictly controlled under the SVLK certification scheme. This is in place to ensure the teak used will only come from plantations that are classed as sustainable.
Our manufacturer uses a range of traditional joinery methods to produce and assemble our teak garden furniture but sometimes we have to use metals and plastics within the construction. We are always looking at ways to reduce this but inevitably it is not always possible.
Timber sourcing and our environmental commitments
An ever more important thing we are always looking at improving and growing is our eco-promise, meaning you can shop with us guilt free but still finding high quality products. Our teak is only sourced from sustainable plantations which is closely controlled and governed.
We also are always looking into improving how we transport our products to you, our customer. We do use bubble wrap to protect whilst in transit which is made from recycled plastic and is also 100% recyclable once you have finished with it. We have also begun to send our larger items and orders on paleets which is helping to reduce the amount of packaging needed.
Another recent scheme we are very proud of is our tree planting scheme. For evey order you place with us at Ottena we will have a tree planted on your behalf. A great scheme helping to maintain and grow trees for future generations to come.
