The parasol

Timeless cream, classic square

The Cream 1.8m Square Parasol is one of the newest additions to the Ottena garden range. It brings a clean, very contemporary look to any outdoor space – equally at home on a private garden terrace or out front of a busy café.

The hardwood pole is 38mm in diameter, giving it genuine stability without unnecessary bulk. The canopy is made from 180g showerproof polyester stretched over a thick hardwood frame – built to hold up to light rain and wind without any fuss.

The square canopy shape is one of the most practical you can buy. It sits neatly against walls and fences, making it perfect for balconies, compact patios and any space where a round canopy would waste coverage. No barbecue, garden party or family gathering is complete without one.

Construction + care

Made to last, easy to use

Opening and closing is as simple as pulling a cord. The pulley system lifts the canopy and a brass pin locks it securely in place – straightforward enough for anyone to operate in seconds.

The cream canopy is made from 180g showerproof polyester. Please note that due to the nature of this colour it can be prone to marks and blemishes, many of which will wipe clean with a damp cloth. Always close and store the parasol in strong winds and never leave your parasol unattended.

Simple, fast delivery for your teak furniture

We’ve tried to make delivery as easy as possible – here’s how everything gets from our place to your garden.

Free Mainland UK Delivery

We offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses on all of our teak garden furniture products on orders over £99.

Extremities such as the Isles and remote Scottish areas will cost a little more. Just drop us an email at [email protected] for a delivery price.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

We guarantee dispatch within 24–48 hours (weekdays only), often sooner.

Deliveries are generally placed on a next day service, but can take up to 48 hours. You’ll receive an email from us when your items have been dispatched, and then you’ll hear directly from the courier with delivery details.

Packaging & Delivery

All items are thoroughly packaged in-house using a careful system to help everything reach you in great condition.

On receiving your items, please visually check them before signing to make sure you’re happy with their condition. If something doesn’t look right, take photos so we can quickly address it with our couriers.

Returns & peace of mind

Simple returns if something’s not quite right

We make our returns policy super simple in the unlikely event that you do need to send anything back.

Damaged in transit

If any of your items are clearly damaged in transit, please do not sign for them and ask the courier to return them straight away.

If the damage isn’t visible at the time, or the goods have been left, please contact us at your earliest convenience providing images of the damage. We’ll take back all damaged items and sort the return for you free of charge, and arrange a replacement as soon as the damaged item is back at our depot. You have 14 days from receipt of the items to let us know.

Item not as described

In the very unlikely event your item is grossly not as described, we will arrange a return for a replacement or a full refund free of charge.

You have 14 days from receipt of the items to advise us if something is not as described, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Changed your mind?

If you choose to return your item but there is no damage and it is as described, we’re still happy to help within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

Items must be in the same condition they were received, in their original packaging. In this case we simply ask that return carriage is paid by you – we’ll organise and arrange the return for you.
