Bench Engraving Service

Have your chosen message engraved directly into the wood of your solid teak garden bench using our state-of-the-art laser engraving machine. A deeply personal and lasting tribute that will remain beautifully visible for many years to come.

Laser engraved

Using a high-intensity laser engraving machine, your chosen inscription is cut directly into the surface of the teak, leaving a beautifully rich dark finish that is a permanent part of the bench itself.

Two widths

Choose from standard engraving up to 60cm across the top rail, or extra long engraving up to 90cm. Text is centralised as standard and sized to suit the amount of text required.

Selected benches

Available on our Catherine, Eleanor, Elizabeth and Victoria solid teak garden benches. Not available on Lutyens benches due to the intricate shaping of that design.

The service

A message that becomes part of the bench

Using a state-of-the-art laser engraving machine, we can engrave any text or message directly into the top rail of your chosen solid teak garden bench. The laser cuts into the wood surface to leave a rich, dark engraved finish that is both striking and permanent. As you can see from the photos, the results are quite stunning and make an already beautiful bench into something truly unique and personal.

We offer two engraving widths: standard, which covers up to 60cm across the top rail, and extra long, which covers up to 90cm. Text is set in Times New Roman as standard. If you would prefer a different font, please contact us at [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Text is centralised to the rail and the size will be adjusted to suit the amount of text provided.

Our engraving service is currently available on the Catherine, Eleanor, Elizabeth and Victoria solid teak garden benches. Due to constraints with the engraving machine and the intricate shaping of the Lutyens design, we are unable to offer engraving on Lutyens benches at this time. We are working on a solution and will update when one is available. If you have any questions about whether your chosen bench is suitable, please contact us at [email protected] before ordering.

Delivery information

Simple, fast delivery for your teak furniture

We’ve tried to make delivery as easy as possible – here’s how everything gets from our place to your garden.

Free Mainland UK Delivery

We offer free delivery to UK mainland addresses on all of our teak garden furniture products on orders over £99.

Extremities such as the Isles and remote Scottish areas will cost a little more. Just drop us an email at [email protected] for a delivery price.

Dispatch & Delivery Times

We guarantee dispatch within 24–48 hours (weekdays only), often sooner.

Deliveries are generally placed on a next day service, but can take up to 48 hours. You’ll receive an email from us when your items have been dispatched, and then you’ll hear directly from the courier with delivery details.

Packaging & Delivery

All items are thoroughly packaged in-house using a careful system to help everything reach you in great condition.

On receiving your items, please visually check them before signing to make sure you’re happy with their condition. If something doesn’t look right, take photos so we can quickly address it with our couriers.

Returns & peace of mind

Simple returns if something’s not quite right

We make our returns policy super simple in the unlikely event that you do need to send anything back.

Damaged in transit

If any of your items are clearly damaged in transit, please do not sign for them and ask the courier to return them straight away.

If the damage isn’t visible at the time, or the goods have been left, please contact us at your earliest convenience providing images of the damage. We’ll take back all damaged items and sort the return for you free of charge, and arrange a replacement as soon as the damaged item is back at our depot. You have 14 days from receipt of the items to let us know.

Item not as described

In the very unlikely event your item is grossly not as described, we will arrange a return for a replacement or a full refund free of charge.

You have 14 days from receipt of the items to advise us if something is not as described, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Changed your mind?

If you choose to return your item but there is no damage and it is as described, we’re still happy to help within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

Items must be in the same condition they were received, in their original packaging. In this case we simply ask that return carriage is paid by you – we’ll organise and arrange the return for you.
