The classic picnic bench – built to commercial quality
This 6ft (180cm) picnic bench is handcrafted to a genuinely heavy duty specification using 116mm x 42mm sustainably sourced pine – far more substantial than the lightweight picnic benches commonly sold in garden centres. The result is a bench that feels as solid as it looks, with no flex or wobble underfoot, whether you are using it at home in a private garden or in a high-traffic commercial location such as a pub, hotel, school or park.
The pine has been tanalised (pressure pre-treated) to protect the timber from the inside out against rot, decay and weathering – extending the lifespan of the bench significantly compared to untreated alternatives. All edges are carefully chamfered so there are no rough edges or sharp corners anywhere on the bench, making it equally suitable for family gardens and school outdoor spaces. Planed and finely sanded for an attractive natural finish throughout.

Assembly + delivery
Part assembled – ready in 30 to 45 minutes
Your picnic bench arrives part assembled on a pallet with all components, fixings and an assembly instructions leaflet included. Light assembly is required and should take around 30 to 45 minutes. The bench weighs approximately 70kg so please seek assistance when unloading from the pallet. Dispatched within 24 to 48 hours of ordering (weekdays), delivered on a pallet on a next day service.
Anchor kits are available if the bench will be installed in a public or commercial location where additional security is required. Please note that extra delivery charges may apply for some postcodes due to the weight and size of the item – please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

Fantastic Picnic BenchWe got this bench as we knew it could be left outside all weather. It’s been perfect, extremely solid and it really doesn’t bow or anything. Would recommend.
