Ok, so the clocks have gone back and the evenings and mornings are much darker now, so discussing wooden garden parasols is probably not at the top of your agenda, but bear with us!
Our range of wooden garden parasols has a size and colour to suit all outdoor requirements, whether it is just for a bit of shelter from the elements or for your outdoor seating area at your pub or restaurant. Constructed with a solid wood frame and with a showerproof canopy, our garden parasols will make the perfect addition to any outdoor space.
Available in a choice of stunning colours, there is something to suit all tastes and surroundings, ranging from our ever-popular cream and dark green or the slightly different and personal favourites of mine, the navy blue and red. The 180gm showerproof polyester fabric canopy will help to give some protection from any light rain showers that you may experience. We do get asked a lot if our parasols are waterproof, my answer to this would be they are a parasol not an umbrella, so no they are not fully waterproof but they will give protection from light rain showers. We would always say that if the weather begins to turn unsavoury, it would be best to lower your parasol to ensure no unnecessary damage occurs. As some of our parasols are pretty large in size, it is always your responsibility to ensure that firstly they are never left unattended whilst open and to always lower and store your parasol if the weather turns nasty.
As we speak, we have just taken delivery of a fresh haul of parasols, parasol covers and some new parasol bases from our supplier. We are now heading into the new year fully stocked with our range of wooden garden parasols, with covers and bases to match. This includes our large cream garden parasols, which sold out last year!
Another great addition to this delivery will be the arrival of a large quantity of parasol bases, more than we have ever carried. After a few awkward moments in the summer sourcing stock, we have had our manufacturer produce parasol bases for us to ensure we have the stock needed to supply all of our customers. We have stock of our ever-popular 12kg base, which is always a fantastic item and will give any of our parasols the support it needs when used through a table. Like all of our bases they are suitable with either a 38mm or 48mm diameter pole and come with a handy thumb screw to help secure the pole in place. We also now have much more stock of our 25kg bases, which is a great addition for those customers with a large 3m + parasol or for those that may at some point wish to use their parasol freestanding. We have 2 different styles coming, one with carry handles and one that goes the extra mile, with wheels added to make them much easier to move around so much easier for all. These will be launched live on the website in the next few weeks, so watch this space!
Our wooden parasols are available in a 1.8m square, 2m round, 2.5m round, 3.5m octagonal, 3m x 2m rectangular, 2m x 1.5m tilting rectangular and 3m tilting round styles. They are all available in the 4 different colours we have discussed earlier.
We also have a new 2.7m octagonal parasol coming on this delivery, offering an alternative between our 2.5m and 3.5m parasols to give our customers another size option. We will be testing the water by offering this new parasols in a slightly different variety of colours – keep your eyes peeled for these in the new year.
