After an extremely busy summer and the very nice weather that has blessed us from time to time, it is at this time of the year we start to look at placing orders for both our teak garden furniture and our wooden garden parasols. We have built very good and strong relationships with suppliers over the years, to ensure that the products we bring to you are the best they possibly can be. We are committed to continue improving our products and resolve any issues we may come across through customer feedback.
As you will see from our website there have been a few items of teak garden furniture that we have sold out of due to the high demand we experienced over the spring/summer months. One perfect example of this is our beautiful and extremely popular Adirondack chairs. Our last order that arrived from our manufacturer at the end of May had sold out by the end of July. Our teak Adirondacks are our most popular item. We have recently placed another large order so that we are ready to go into 2026 with plenty of stock.
As we move forward, we have also introduced new stainless steel fittings to all of our solid teak garden furniture. You will now see these new bolts and fittings on a range of our patio furniture from our Adirondack chairs, steamer garden chairs and any other item of furniture that is assembled with bolts. This will only help to increase the life of our teak furniture. We are also very pleased to introduce new packaging for our teak furniture. In the past our teak garden furniture would be packaged in both soft and hard cardboard, meaning once with us we have to utilise bubble wrap to protect your furniture whilst it is in the hands of our couriers. Moving forward, all of our teak garden furniture will be delivered in sturdy cardboard boxes. We are hoping that this will provide the perfect solution to sending out our orders and allow us to limit the use of both bubble wrap and shrink wrap. Watch this space!
Our wooden garden parasols are as ever proving to be extremely popular to the point that we have actually sold out of two different styles after the huge demand we had over the past few months. Likewise, our parasol bases have been flying out so we have now get our parasol manufacturer to start building 3 new parasol bases for us so we can ensure we have the stock we need going forward. The regular 12kg base will stay and we will add two new 25kg bases to our range. The first will have two handles built into the base for ease of movement. The other will have handles plus 4 wheels mounted to the base to again make manoeuvring your garden parasol base much easier. These new 25kg bases will be a great addition to our range.
And one final exciting piece of news, we are going to start selling a range of indoor teak furniture. We have worked with our manufacturer in Indonesia to source reclaimed teak. They are manufacturing a range of dining tables and indoor arm chairs that are looking absolutely stunning. We had a couple of examples arrive on our previous delivery and they are beautifully designed and finished with a rustic look. We cannot give too much away at present but please keep an eye out for our new indoor teak furniture coming soon!
