We have worked closely with a long-term partner in Indonesia and together we have been able to bring you this range of solid reclaimed teak indoor furniture. We absolutely love it and hope you will too!
As teak is used for many purposes in Indonesia, from house building to furniture, there is an abundance of teak that has come to the end of its previous life but still has so much more to give. So we thought, why shouldn’t we take advantage of this and give this most wonderful timber a new lease of life. Our manufacturer has sourced high quality reclaimed teak that is full of character and manufactured it into high end indoor furniture. We wanted to keep the designs simple but maintain the high standards that we demand from our teak garden furniture.
To begin with, we have focused on a range of lifetime teak indoor dining furniture. Our range consists of 4 different table designs and 3 different seating styles which we have put together to make some simply gorgeous 4 – 8 seater indoor dining sets.
The beauty of reclaimed teak is the uniqueness it carries. With its variations in grain patterns, swirling knots and subtle marks making this timber not only strong and sturdy but giving it some real character. Each individual piece has a backstory to tell. The subtle marks and variations are there to enhance the mystery that each piece carries, you can sit at your dining table and simply wonder in what previous life each individual piece of timber has lived. These marks and subtle variations are something that cannot be replicated from new timber, the patina and character this timber carries are something we think is very special and will transform any dining space in your home.
Our range of tables start with a 1m square teak table and 1.2m circular teak dining table. These are the perfect tables for 4 people. The slightly larger footprint of the 1.2m circular table can seat up to 6 if necessary. Both of these tables have a simple yet effective leg design. No space is lost due to a large section of leg being right in the way, an all too common issue with dining tables! These tables will arrive with you in 2 sections, the table top and the legs. They will simply slot together with the help of small labels to guide you to which parts go where and we have provided bolts to then hold it all in place, simple!
Next, we have our longer rectangular dining tables, which each come in 2 different sizes. A 1.8m teak dining table, ideal for 6 diners, or a larger 8 seater 2.2m long teak table. These are a proper dining table and have that classic farmhouse look and feel about them, with a bit of a twist. Again, with strong and sturdy leg sections these tables will cope with whatever modern life can throw at them, arriving in 2 boxes with the table top in one and the legs in the other. A word of warning here, these tables are heavy! Please, please be careful when it comes to receiving, assembling and moving all of these tables around, we really wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself.
With regards to seating, we have 2 different teak indoor dining chair designs and a couple of different benches that add a little twist to the normal table and chair set ups. The first chair is our teak round back chair. This chair has a beautifully curved back rest section and simple, clean lines that make this chair an absolute must. Next, we have our wicker teak chair. This chair has a woven wicker seat base and back rest with straight arms which gives this chair a unique look but still giving you that comfort you wish for. Both our round back and wicker dining chairs are stacking, so they can be tidied away neatly if needed. To add a little more comfort, these chairs can be ordered with cushions. Available in either cream or a dove grey, they give that added bit of comfort but still stay understated and not overpowering. We then have a couple of different dining benches that match nicely in with the two rectangular tables we offer. Simple, solid and sturdy, they give ample seating when needed but tuck away under a table and not invading any unnecessary space.
Delivery of our indoor furniture will be made via our trusted pallet delivery courier. Your teak indoor dining furniture will be loaded onto a pallet, so that it reaches you safe and sound. The items are heavy so please do not struggle, ensure you have help to receive your order as the delivery is what is known as a kerbside delivery (please see our delivery page for more information). This means that the pallet will be delivered to the address and it will be your responsibility to remove from the pallets and move into your home.
You may notice that the names of our indoor furniture range have a slight Cornish theme to them, and you would be exactly right. We are a small family run business from Cornwall and are very proud of our Cornish roots. The names are from some of our favourite beaches and areas around the county, so we thought it would be only right to give our range of indoor furniture names that we love.
