As we head towards the end of another year and with the big day being only a few days away, we sincerely hope that everyone is preparing to spend some well-earned time with friends and family and the people in our lives that mean the most to us.

Once again it has been an absolute pleasure to speak, email and deal with all of our customers through 2025 and we look forward to welcoming more of you to the Ottena family in 2026. This year has been a great year for us and we would like to sincerely thank all of our customers for allowing us to provide you with all of those products for your garden that help you spend some well-earned time there with friends and family. From a simple garden parasol to a large patio dining set, it has been a pleasure to be part of this journey with you.
As a small family run business, Â it always fills us with pride to see our teak garden furniture sat in your gardens, on your balconies or simply in that sunny corner of your patio. We continue to work with our long-term manufacturer in Indonesia to ensure that the products we bring to you are always the best they can be and continue to give many years of outdoor enjoyment.
Our garden parasols have been exceptionally popular this year, having sold out of a few styles and sizes back in the Summer. It has been reported that 2025 was the sunniest year on record, although you may not think that today, so we have ensured we have stocked up on all of our wooden parasols ready to go into 2026. As well as all of our current sizes and styles, we also have a new parasol to the range which will appear on our website soon. This is a 2.7m octagonal parasol which will be available in 3 of our traditional colours (navy, green and red) but also a couple of new colours that we hope you will like as much as we do. We have also stocked up on parasol bases. These were extremely popular in the summer and stock was disappearing very quickly, so we have now filled our warehouse up with a range of parasol bases to ensure we are ready for 2026. These bases are again a concrete filled base with a black resin coating. In our heavier 25kg parasol bases, we have added carry handles to make moving them easier to move and one that also comes with wheels on the bottom so that the base can be easily manoeuvred into the required position. The biggest news going into 2026 is the addition of a range of reclaimed teak indoor dining furniture. You will see on our website a new category has appeared on the homepage with a range of indoor dining sets and chairs available. These items have been manufactured from reclaimed teak that has been sourced locally in Indonesia. Teak is used to build lots of structures but we are ensuring it gets another lease of life as stunning indoor furniture. We have a range of 4, 6 and 8 seater dining sets available with a range of different shape and size tables available, all manufactured from solid reclaimed teak. It has a wonderfully rustic look and feel to it which will suit any indoor location, whether this is your kitchen or dining room. We are extremely pleased with this new range and you will see more product variations being added to our website over the coming weeks. As stated on our website, our last shipping day before Christmas was Monday 22nd. We will then be taking a well-earned break until Monday 5th January.
