Our teak garden furniture is manufactured in Indonesia, using sustainably sourced Teak and supported by replanting schemes. Using timber that will last means you won't have to buy 'fast' furniture and replace it every year.

Our ranges of garden furniture in Newport are made from eco-sourced timber. Our garden chairs, benches and dining sets are all manufactured from solid teak that has been responsibly sourced from Javanese plantations. Our manufacturer sources our teak from these plantations and builds our ranges of stunning furniture. This teak is controlled under a strict certification scheme known as SVLK which is in place to ensure this is the case. This SVLK certifies the legitimacy of the teak to ensure it is sustainable and to make sure there is no foul play taking place.
Our expert craftsman have been building teak furniture all of their lives and we are pleased to have been working closely with them for almost 10 years now to provide you with furniture that is made mainly from timber products using traditional joinery methods. The use of metals and plastics is something we try to avoid but sometimes this is unavoidable, where we do the amount is kept to an absolute minimum.

It is becoming ever more important to ensure we are doing what we can to help protect and support our planet and environment. We want you to be sure that you can shop guilt free in this modern and demanding world that we live in.
We always ensure the timber that we are using has come from sustainable forests and plantations. With the likes of the SVLK and FSC schemes in place to ensure that this is the case makes sure that we are not using materials that are not from sustianable sources. To further help we have recently introduced a tree planting scheme to our business. This scheme is fantastic and will plant a tree on your behalf for every order that is placed with us here at Ottena.
We have also looked into how we send our orders to you and have made sure that the packaging and methods we use are as good as they can be whilst still giving the best protection for your order. We wrap our products in cardboard and bubble wrap to give the best protection. The bubble wrap we use is partly made from recycled material and is also 100% recyclable once not needed anymore. To help reduce the amount of packaging used we send larger orders and items via a pallet service which helps cut down the amount needed.

Our team are now experienced in making appropriate repairs to teak folding tables, teak dining chairs, teak garden benches and our garden parasols. These are often restored to perfect working order so they will have a long working life.
