The timber that we source only ever comes from plantations or forests that are controlled under their relevany guidelines to ensure they are kept sustainable. Recently we have introduced a tree planting scheme that we offer to all of our customers. This scheme is fantastic and will plant a tree for every order that you place with us here at Ottena. A great way to be giving a little back to our environment. 

We are constantly looking at ways to improve our packaging and delivery whilst still maintaining the level of protection we need when sending wooden furniture through courier networks. We still use bubble wrap and cardboard as this gives the best protection for your order but we make sure that the bubble wrap we use is fully recyclable once not needed anymore. To further help we will send our larger items and orders via a pallet delivery service to help cut down the amount of packaging being used.
