As the Summer of 2025 draws to a close and the evenings start to get shorter, there is still time, in between the rain, to get out into your outdoor area and enjoy some sunshine before it turns dark and cold. Our solid garden benches are the perfect addition to any outdoor location, whether it be in a private garden or in a special place as a lasting memory to a much missed loved one.
Throughout September we are very pleased to be offering a 50% discount on our engraving service, so that your new solid teak bench can be personalised with a message as a memorial bench to a much missed loved one. With the use of our in-house laser engraving machine which engraves a clean, long-lasting finish to your chosen bench, a loving personal message can be engraved into your bench.
As you can see in some of the accompanying photos the engraving has a lovely dark, clean finish to it. With the software that we use, we can also engrave not only text but images as well, such as the swallows you will see on one of our stunning Victoria teak benches pictured. This bench was requested by one of our customers as a memorial bench. Their favourite bird was a swallow, so they had requested that these were added to the text. I am sure you will agree that it looks beautiful and will make a fitting tribute to that loved one. The bench was then located into the customers favourite location for all to enjoy.
On another occasion, one of our Victoria garden benches was also selected by a customer as a commemorative bench to sit in a favourite location of the sadly missed loved one. With the engraving simply saying “for Dad who loved this place”. We can all agree what a beautiful memorial this will become.
Our engraving is available in two different sizes, with the standard setting at up to 60cm and the extra wide being up to 90cm across the top rail of your chosen bench. As the design of each bench is slightly different, please email us with your requests so we can ensure that we can obtain you the best possible use of the space requested as per the text or imagery you would like to be engraved. Please remember that large amounts of text or images can affect the size of the engraving so please consider this when choosing your engraving.
