We always want to be sure that we are doing everything we can to be more eco. Making sure we are all doing something to help protect our fragile planet and environment should be at the forefront of everything we do. At Ottena we are always looking at ways to improve how we operate and have recently introduced a pallet delivery service for our larger items and orders which will help to reduce the amount of packaging we use. With our smaller orders and items these are packaged in bubble wrap and cardboard to give the best protection possible. Both of these materials are fully recyclable once not needed anymore.

We always use timber that has come from sustainable sources and we have recently introduced a tree planting scheme that will help to give a little back. This scheme is fantastic and it will plant a tree, on your behalf, for every order placed with us here at Ottena. A great way of us giving a little back to help protect and maintain our forests and plantations for future generations.

In the event that some of our teak outside furniture becomes damaged in transit, either on its way to us or to our customers, we will bring it back to our warehouse and recycle it. Our team are now experienced in making appropriate repairs to teak folding tables, teak dining chairs, teak garden benches and our garden parasols. These are often restored to perfect working order so they will have a long working life.
