Are all of your teak garden chairs assembled ready to go?
– Any of our teak chairs that are foldable will arrive ready to use. Any other fixed teak chairs such as our Adirondack or Charlotte stacking chairs, for example, will require some basic assembly before use.
I have just received my new chairs but cannot find the assembly instructions, where are they?
– You will find a set of assembly instructions for our benches, Adirondack and Charlotte stacking chairs on our website. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Garden Furniture Assembly Guide” to access them and a couple of helpful videos. Otherwise, simply click here!
Is the teak you use from sustainable forests?
– Yes, our teak is sourced from sustainable Javanese plantations. Our teak is Indonesian Legal Wood accredited and has been subject to a timber legality process (SVLK). Our supplier issues a FLEGT certificate for every order we make. This process ensures the legality and sustainability of all of our teak.
I have one of your Adirondack chairs but would like to put my feet up as well, can you help?
– Quite simply, yes! We sell a footstool that will rest up against the front of your teak Adirondack allowing you to sit back and relax with your feet up. This is detached from the main chair and can be simply moved aside when not needed. You can shop footstools separately here.
Do you do any cushions for your range of garden chairs?
– Yes, we offer a choice of 3 different colour cushions for all of our teak patio chairs. These are tailormade for our range of outdoor chairs. They come with a shower proof material and ties to attach to your teak chairs with ease.
Is there any maintenance I need to do?
– Very occasionally you may find that some of the small brass allen key bolts, particularly on our folding garden chairs, can work slightly loose. With either a 4mm or 5mm allen key (depending on the chairs you have) these can be tightened to ensure no unnecessary damage occurs whilst in use. Please do not overtighten these bolts as you may damage the teak if overtightened.
How will my chairs arrive to me?
– For smaller orders, these will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shrink wrapped to protect them whilst in transit. Larger orders will be packaged on a pallet for ease of shipment. All items are sent on a next day delivery service.
I love your teak garden chairs but I cannot see the combination I would like, what can I do?
– If you are looking at our outdoor teak chairs, or any of our outdoor furniture for that matter, and you cannot see the combination you would like then please do not hesitate to contact us at hello@ottena.co.uk and we will be happy to help. There are many different variations that would suit many different locations, whether they be private or commercial settings.
